Did you know that alcoholic beverages can be potentially dangerous to pets?

(你知道含酒精的飲料可以潛在的使你的寵物導致危險嗎??)

During the winter season,holiday parties abound,

with many festivities including cocktails and other alcoholic libations.

The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center advises pet owners to

avoid leaving alcoholic drinks unattended

(建議寵物飼主避免將含酒精的飲料留在無人照顧的地方);

 such beverages should always be kept well out of the reach of pets.

(這類的飲料應該永遠被放置在寵物接觸不到的地方)

Depending on the amount ingested,

alcohol ingestions can potentially result in vomiting(嘔吐),

diarrhea(腹瀉), incoordination(不協調),

central nervous system depression(中樞神經系統消沈),

difficulty breathing(呼吸困難), tremors(顫抖), acidosis(酸中毒),

coma(昏迷) and even death(甚至死亡).
